JUNIOR PLAY N the evening of November 21st, the Junior Class presented the play, “RoomNo. 13. ” It was directed by Mr. Ted Graf el. If Janet Harris and Sally Hall had only known what awaited them, they would never have accepted the strange invitation of Janet’s uncle, Professor Snow, to visit him in his old home on the Hudson; nor would Jim Stevens, a young author, have begged the profes- sor to rent him a room there so he might live in a proper atmosphere for his next novel. The mysterious tramp who takes pleasure in hiding in chests and basements, turns out to be a detective. Madam Zelda conducts a seance to talk with her good friends, the spirits. Josh and Lizzie Spriggins, Professor Snow’s two creaky servants, search for their pets at all hours of the night. Room No. 13 ends happily for all, as Sally and her tramp round up the professor and his companions, who appear quite content to be returned to the asylum from which they escaped and Janet falls for the young author who finds in her, the answer to all his dreams.
