R.’s, in loving memory of St. Valentine, held a dance on George Washing- ton’s birthday. The only fly in the ointment was the fact that they promised an eight piece orchestra. I suppose it was, if you count the parts of the drum separately. Regardless, everyone thought it was 0, K. That right or left forward was seen brushing the dust from his shoes as he exclaimed, “The girl I had sure knows how to dance.” And by the way, why didn’t he come to school the next day? The seniors bowed to the freshmen when the frosh held that skating party. None of us will forget that night—that is, the seniors that crashed in won’t. “The old meanies.” CLASS ROOM BONERS Miss Adlard: How do you find the diagonal of a rectangular solid?
