Together we have met with mixed emotions . . . schedules . . . homework . . . candy apples . . . homecoming . . . report cards . . . ballgames . . . pop corn . . . bus rides. . . Chaucer. . . exams. . . chipmunks . . . assembly . . . term papers . . . Junior-Senior Prom . . . and, with the same variety of feelings, we await grad uation. Though we may never relive these moments, may they be lasting memories, inspired by the pages of this, the 1963 Falcon, which the Senior Class proudly-presents to the faculty and students of Madison-Mayodan Senior High School. They will be vivid memories dear And will live in our hearts throughout the years. But those we love and hold most dear, Are those who've led us while we were here. Their words, their deeds have ever been kind, In work, in play, in every line. Our work was hard from first to last, But all these hardships now are passed. To distant fields we soon must go To live and to teach the things we know. With tears and sighs we say goodbye To our dear friends of days gone by. Although our high school days are done We say, Not finishedg just begun. MOTTO: It is not in mortals to command success, but we will do more, we will deserve it. K.. Gksxs ffftopfecy In this time of the space age, no one can be sure what opportunities will be before him. If every- thing goes as planned, the entire Senior Class of '63 will play an important part in the following fields . You sadly leave the portals, Where there's been born a dream Which will ever keep you pressing on, To follow, follow the gleam. And the paths of life are before you, Luring and bidding you on. And you must go to take your place In the future that you have won. Farewell to joys of high school days, From these you now depart. Although you go, the memories will live Forever in your heart. m im 4U m m 1 m l McFALL'S DRUG CO. qprescriptions Are our Specialty, Q95 C .-JL DEPENDABLE 4 .1 PY ' vi . r vw' cp . 4--. '1 f Y f:.'
