Q51 Easf 1 f gf' ' anof fjesfamenf P .1 We, the Senior Class of the Madi- son-Mayodan High School, of the cities of Madison and Mayodan, county of Rockingham, and state of North Caro- lina, being almost of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by us. ARTICLE I To Mrs. Lorraine Scott we leave this 1961 FALCON with the hope that she will never forget us. ARTICLE II Item I - To Mr. V. Mayo Bundy, our superintendent, we leave the worries of becoming adjusted to the new environment of the new school. We hope everything works out all right. Item II - To Mr. Charles E. Fleming, our principal, we leave memories of crowded halls and classrooms and dreams of plenty of room in the new school. Item III - To our teachers we leave our deepest appreciation for all you have tried to do for us. We know your labors were not in vain. ARTICLE III Item I - To the rising Senior Class of 1961-62 we leave hopes that they may spend a full school year in the new school. Item II - To the rising Juniors go our desire for a successful magazine sale and a wonderful Junior-Senior Prom. Item III - To the rising Sophomores go the duty of maintaining and keeping school spirit at its highest level. Item IV - To the Freshmen we leave four years of hard work and fun. ARTICLE IV DONNA AMOS leaves to Melissa Crews her basketball talent - an old pair of basketball shoes. BONNIE CREECH leaves her love for Airforce men to Gayle Gibson. SAMMY COLLINS leaves his ability to drive to Ray Cardwell. GLADYS MOORE leaves her superlative of being Biggest Flirt to Judy Mabe. SONNY EULISS leaves his flat top to a flat head. LENNA VAUGHN leaves the schoolhouse darkened by the absence of her glow- ing blush. LOIS BOLEN leaves all of Mrs. Tripp's work to Christine Coleman. ROBERT FUQUAY leaves Mary Dell Peay fsighj. TERRY GANN leaves that cute little smile to anyone who wants it. BRENDA MOORE, BRENDA ROBERTS, KATHY WRAY. and SUE SHELTON leave their happily married lives to Margaret Freeman and Mildred Gann. HOPPER leaves what is left of the school to Autrey Bowlin. LOUISE GOINS wills her ability to help fellow students to pass to Anna Joyce. SHIRLEY ROBERTSON leaves her red hair to Barbara Camp. STEVE HOPPER --- just leaves! BONNIE WILLIAMS leaves to Kay Bundy a hot uniform and her seat on the bus for band trips next year. RAY JOYCE leaves his build to Doyle Marley. PATRICIA ROBERTS leaves her out- standing basketball ability to anyone who thinks they can handle it. HELEN HOPPER, MARY ALICE PARRISH, BETTY SUE SATTERFIELD, and VIRGINIA BRIM leave their talent of laughter to Linda Barrett, Norma Jean Hill, and Oleane Martin. JACKIE JOYCE leaves his curly hair to Dickie Hawkins. MIKE JOYCE leaves with a lot of sense, and would like to share it with the rising Senior Class. BONNIE ASHBURN, VELMA GOINS, and DOROTHY WARD will their nightly trips to Greensboro to Linda Dale Collins, Nancy Freeman, and Linda Steele. BUDDY MILKS leaves Miss McKellar to Johnny Irving. CLAUDIA LYNCH and ANNIE KATE WATKINS will to Bonnie Clark, Linda De Ette Collins, and Shelby Nelson their many memorable times in Family Living. HOMER PEARSON leaves his reputation to Mike Jackson.
