QHe decided he'd save gas that wayl. LINDSAY BLACK has won the world championship talking marathon. BRENDA MOORE and SUE SHELTON are each expecting their fifth baby. MARVIN ANGEL, Professor of Mathe- matics at Yale University, is still wondering, Why do they call me 'fish'? CAROL ORE is trying to be the best little wife possible for Paul. TIM HALEY, upon the retirement of Coach Jim Hickey, has just accepted the position of head football coach for America's No. 1 team, the U.N.C. 'l'arheels. PAIGE DODSON is living comfortably in her Chapel Hill home where she is an ardent Tarheel fan. BUDDY MILKS is widely known as a specialist in brain surgery. He hopes to live to perform a successful opera- tion, however. SUE KNIGHT is now doing govern- ment work along with trying to be a good housewife to hubby, ELAINE MCCOLLUM, Home Economics teacher at M-M High School, is still living up to her title of Most Valuable to School. TERRY GANN has finally learned the proper time to bring a girl home from a date. JANET GIBSON, famous hairstylist, is working on her latest creation. ROBERT FUQUAY now owns the Madi- son Drive-In. l-le decided that he had already paid for it twice so he purchased it. BONNIE ASHBURN is president of the Moon Mullins Fan Club. PATRICIA ROBERTS is the girls bas- ketball coach at M-M High School. Maybe, now, they'll win some games. JAMES PRICE, at 27, is still the local playboy. Will he ever stop break- ing girls' hearts? SONNY EULISS has given up his quest for the Mr. America title for reasons unknown. DANNY REDDICK is still trying to de- cide what to do after graduating. C. W. LINDA SIMMONS, now happily mar- ried, has given up her dreams of be- coming a nurse because she now has her own private patients --- her kids PETE BARKSDALE and Mr. Collins are now co-directors ofthe band at the new M-M University. EMMY ROGERS is doing professional modeling for an exclusive store in New York City. ODELL l-IAWKINS has finally traded his '39 Ford for a newer car --- a '40! DONNA AMOS is now sports editor for the Winston-Salem Journal. What happened to Mary Garborif? BILL GIBSON is still the same old lover boy, No longer as a student, though, but as an English teacher. VELMA GOINS, after starting as a telephone operator, is now owner of several telephone companies in North Carolina. BUDDY CLARK and JIMMY BUR- ROUGHS are still traveling around from school to school trying to graduate. PENNY LEWIS' cooking ability has been of good use to her. We hear she has made her first million since she opened up her famous Smi1ey's restaurant. DONNIE TUTTLE has put his dancing ability to good use and has run Arthur Murray out of business. JIMMIE LAWSON is head football coach at M-M High School. On the side, he's a regular Romeo. Still the same old Jimmie! BONNIE WILLIAMS is still working at the Y. M. C. A. and saving her money to go to college. Oh, well! Better late than never. CARL RAY JOYCE has finally given up his bicycle for a car. Someone ran over his bike! Does anyone want to buy a SLIGHTLY used bike? Remember the way CARL BOWMAN used to say he just wanted to get out of school? Well, he finally did! I ! STEVE HOPPER, who was voted Most Talented of the Senior Class, has lived up to his title, He is currently the star attraction at Spooky Hollow Night Club! JACK POWELL'S dreams have come true of being a mechanic at one of the top speedways, but for some un- known reason the cars he works on just never win. HOMER PEARSON has bought CHI Lefty's Grill at Mayodan because --- well, just because. JOE SMITH has won world renown as the Speed Demon. He is presently touring the country giving lectures on safe driving. JUDY Sl-IEMO has just wrecked another car! Oh, well, accidents do happen! STEVE JOYCE is composing and record- ing his own works on the piano for Atlantic Records. GLADYS MOORE has filled Miss Mc- Kellar's place in the English depart- ment at M-M High School. SAMMY COLLINS is now a professional baseball player and is presently doing commercials for Wheaties. BUDDY JOE MYERS is now the no. one player for the Globetrotters, under the direction of their coach, CHARLES DOSS. BETTY GREY PARRISH is now a highly paid model for Seventeen magazine.
