East will And Cesfament We the 1960 Senior Class of Madison-Mayodan High School, County of Rockingham, state of North Carolina, hereby request your presence at the presentation of our most beloved and prized possessions. ARTICLE I, SECTION I To our superintendent, V. Mayo Bundy, we leave the success of the new school, in hopes that it can get along without us. ARTICLE I, SECTION II To our most beloved principals, Mr. Charles Fleming and Mr. Jake Atkinson, we leave crowded busses, cut classes, a long lunch line, and a terrible report card, in hopes that they will enjoy them as much as we did. ARTICLE I, SECTION III To Mr. McKee, we leave our appreciation for the guidance he has given us in our preparation for the future. To Mrs. Scott, we leave her homeroom, which can never be the same. To Miss McKeller, we leave a two weeks vacation to Paris, so that her French classes may be up to date. To Mr. Stultz, we leave 30 feet of rope, with which he may be able to keep future seniors in homeroom. ARTICLE II, SECTION I LIBBY ADAMS wills her joyous rides on the bus after second period to LaVerne Watson. PATRICIA ADKINS le aves her sewing ability to C. W. Hopper. GEORGE ANGEL leaves his All-American football ability to William Crough. CALVIN ASHBY leaves his good times in bookkeeping class to Jimmy Williams. GENEVA BARRETT leaves her intellectual capacity to Ralph Tuttle. JUNE BAKER leaves her quietness to Virginia Welch. DAVE BAUGHN leaves all the Student Council activi- ties to Edward Williams. BUCK BONDURANT leaves a list of excuses that last for years. BETTY BROWN leaves a spotless locker to whomever has that locker with papers spilling out.
