CLASS OF ' 54 Left to right, seated: Dorothy Jacobson, secretary and treasurer; Karen Woodmansee, Carol Galbraith, Evelyn Walker, cheer leaders; Sharon Stephenson, representative. Standing, left to right: Lois Powe ' l, recreation leader; Carol Thompson, reporter; Mrs. Brown, Mr. Fisher, Mrs. Miller, advisers; Bill Lavtrrence, athletic manager; Bill DeMott, vice president; Darrell Whitehead, president. The freshman class of 1950-51 is alert and progressive. After having been upper classmen in junior high, our position as the lowest class in senior high left us puzzled and confused for a time. However, we now have our bearings and shall strive to make a worthwhile contribution to the life of Madison High. Our class is large and we hope it will be just as large at grad- uation. 30
