CLASS OF ' 52 Left to right, seated: Glenna Goodliffe, secretary; DeEsta Ellis, cheer leader; Joyce Casper, cheer leader; Margaret Thompson, cheer leader; Farrelene Winters, vice president. Standing, left to right, Mr. Wright, adviser; Jerry Hicks, athletic manager; Mary Lyman Smith, recreation leader; Dale Parker, reporter; Geneva Henderson; Lyie Heinz, president; Mr. Bigler, adviser. The scholarship, traditions, and activities of Madison High School attained a higher standard when the class of ' 52 entered its halls. Even in our Freshman year we showed great promise in athletics, music, declamation, dramatics, and scholastic achievements. This was evidenced more during our Sophomore year and was climaxed by close placing in the interscholastic series. Under the able leadership of our officers this year we have attained new heights through our Junior Promenade, assembly and class parties. As next year ' s pace-setters we predict an outstanding year for Madison High School. 22
