STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Body Council consists of an Executive Council and a Legislative Council. The Executive Council consists of the nine student officers elected by the students of Madison High School. The Legislative Council is a representative body consisting of representatives from each of the four classes, home room delegates, and the various appointed officers. The Student Body Council is the chief governing body of the school and therefore has the power to levy assessments, appropriate money from the gen- eral fund of the student body, originate and provide plans for student body use, and establish laws to safeguard the property of the school and members of the student body. The council regulates all routine procedure in the school in an effort to increase its efficiency.
