( ta ' 53 Although the Freshman Class this year may not boast of being the largest to enter Madison, we feel that it ranks among the best. The Freshmen have adapted themselves very well to high school life and have entered many activities. There are Freshmen on the Junior Varsity basketball team, debate club, the M News staff, in the F.F.A. and F.H.A. programs, and in other phases of school life. Our aim is to excel in sportsmanship, leadership, and scholarship. We also wish to promote a friendly, courteous, and cooperative spirit among all students of Madison. We feel that the future of Madison High is secure in the class of 53.
