As students enter Madison High School, they step across the threshold of idealism with aims high; with purpose resolute. Each soon becomes an integral part of the insti- tution; each accepts a share of the responsibility of governing their school, and of sustain- ing its standards. If their conduct is motivated by a sincere desire to progress in all phases of learning; to make each succeeding year an ensign of triumph to those that follow; the years spent in the environment of a democratic school will have been profitable and happy. The exit will be a march of satisfaction, and their confidence will be buoyed by the finer things which have become part of their character. LeRoy Anderson, President of the Student Body, and Chairman of the Student Council, has promoted many worth while activities during the year. All the officers deserve much credit for their splendid efforts in maintaining a democratic spirit and furthering those things which promote good citizenship.
