Our Superintendent Because of the conditions of the world in which we find ourselves at the present time, the students of Madison High School are taking their jobs more seriously than they have done heretofore. This year has been characterized by a spirit of work, and cooper- ation. As the students go out for their vacations or as they enter new fields because of graduation from this institution, there is a spirit of uncertainty as to what lies ahead. Thoughtf ulness and careful planning will be required of each one. Every moment must be made to covmt in order that proper preparation may be made to serve at home or away, as needs may dictate. W e are sure that we may count on each student to do his or her full share and to act with the greatest possible wisdom and efficiency. At the close of a very successful school year I express appreciation for each of you. 1 wish you the success and the happiness which comes through growth and achievement. To the freshmen, sophomores and juniors, I express best wishes for a happy, profitable vacation and hope that all may return at the beginning of 1942-43. To the largest graduating class which Madison has ever had, I express appreciation for achievement and hopes for continued success. Sincerely yours, E. S. Stucki PAGE 9
