QW i g One day by some s t r a ng e coincidence we came upon an old rusty lamp. We picked it up, and as we rubbed the dust from ity very suddenly a genie appeared. Evidentally this was Aladdin's lamp, be- cause this little genie told me the following things about the lives of my classmates. Johnny Knight, star of stage, screen and TV, has just completed a new movie for Para- mount Studios co-starring with Becky Burris in Love Me or Leave Me, preferably Leave Me. Carol Snead has just won the Women's In- ternational Golf Tournament. Johnny Joyner and Larry Young are driving for the Greyhound Bus Company. Hazel Parrish is now testing and also doing the Revlon commercials on the 564,000 Question. Barbara Joyce and Nancy Hurd are hostesses for TWA. Larry Flynn has been chosen to represent the U.S. at the winter Olympics in Australia. Agnes Roberts and Jean Clark have joined the Waves to see the world and the men. Ruby Atkins is now practicing law in Greensboro. Paul Knight has ju st been elected as head of the Agricultural Department. B a rb a r a Hooker is bringing in the points for the Hanes Basketball Team. Norma Jean Davis is now teaching English at Reynolds High School. Pete Price, test driver for the Ford Motor Company, has just completed a trial run in the new sports car designed by Donnie Richardson. Roberta Burton, famous beauty expert, won honor s today for her creation of the new hair style, the spit-poodle. Nancy Lee Penn, pin-up girl of 1964, is now rn o d e ling the latest creations of CHRISTIAN DIORS at Sak's Fifth Avenue. Ernest Owens, All-Americantackle of 1965, has retired as a player and is now coaching at Madison High School. B e cky Wester will make her professional debut tonight at the Sandy Ridge Opera House singing the lead role in Garmen. Hluss Prophecy Benny Freeman, noted biologist, is leading an expedition into the Amazon fin search of an ant., ' Yvonne Thacker is private secretary to the Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force. Marie Cox has stormed the TV audiences and night clubs with her fabulous impersonations and pantomines. The Professional Stock Car Driver, Jack Hall, has just set a world's record at the Indianapolis 500. Eunic e Barrett is working as a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company. Peggy Laute n is Athletic Director at the Y.M.C.A. in Orlando, Florida. After many years of hard work, Geraldine Roberts and Bonnie Plummer have succeeded in converting the savages of the Congo. Peggy Williams is making a grand tour of the world. The new flame with the teenagers, Kenny Gann, has hit Hollywood like Elvis Presley with- out a guitar. Deann Hutchings has been chosen Amer- ica's Mother of the Year for 1965 while her schoolmate, Mary Lawrence, has captured the title of Most Successful Homemaker. Today, after performing their first opera- tion Dr. Wayne Hopp e r and Surgical Nurse, Nan c y Spencer were questioned by the Bureau of Missing Persons. Ann Knight, note d child Psychologist, has just published her first book How to Raise Parents. It is strange how at this time we have fore- seen the ca re e r s of many of our classmates. To the s e whose careers we have been able to fo1low,we pause to say thank-you for the places of achievement you have gained for yourselves and us.
