The Faculty selected the Editor-in-Chief, the Assistant Editor, and the Business Manager, these three in turn appointing the members of the staff. Each one is responsible for writing the account of some particular phase of school activities. The price of the Sickle is relatively small in comparison with the value which it is bound to have in later years. This Sickle provides a record of the princi- pal accomplishments and outstanding events of our Senior High School Career. As we all know this has been an unusual year and the class has been faced by many handicaps. In publishing the Sickle every effort has been made to keep within the limits of our budget. This publication has served both as a record of high school activities and as a means of fostering school spirit by its timely wit and wisdom. This group is composed of the freshmen, juniors and seniors interested in journalism. A journalism class was organized at the beginning of the second semester. The class met twice a week and was composed of members of the Maple Leaf Staff, to- gether with a few additional students who were particularly interested in the subject. Besides preparing the articles for The Maple Leaf some insight into journalism has been gained.
