The first of these events took place on September 6, 1932, when the doors of Adrian Senior High School were thrown open and admitted timid, hopeful creatures whose rapidly-beating-hearts told them a new chapter in their lives had begun. We were freshmen. Our first class meeting was held March 7 when we chose the officers for the year. Our class was very well represented in athletics, public speaking and many other activities. Now we entered our second year in High School. Here too we achieved acknowledgement of our talents. A- large proportion of the football, basketball, and baseball teams were made up of boys from our class. Also, the members of our class participated creditably in public speaking, music, dramatics and general scholarship. Now we enter on the last part of this chapter of our lives. At last we are in the enviable position of seniors. As in other years in high school, our contribution to extra-curricular activities was something to be remembered. Our debating team won the County Championship and two public speaking places were won by mem- bers of our class. In music also we earned recognition not only in the city but in the state and national contests. Again a majority of football, basketball, and base- ball. teams were represented in our class. As a class we have a right to be proud of the achievements both in scholarship and extra-curricular activities. Now as we leave Senior High School, we readily see that this is the second event which has influenced and changed our lives. We hope that we have made the school richer for our presence there.
