The club's annual activities began with a Book Tea for the faculty in which France, Modern Literature, and De- mocracy vs. Communism, were the display topics. During Book Week, Lassies again made book talks in classes throughout the school. On March 14 the club held its Induc- tion Service with Mrs. VVillodene Scott of Peabody Demonstration School as the guest speaker. Seven new members were inducted, five received pins, and 'five were awarded guards for previously earned pins. The final activity of the Library Lassies was the attend- ance of the Middle Tennessee Association of Student Library Assistants.
