Peggy has worked diligently for the past four years with the forensic club and the N. If. I, Chapter. is president and holds the Degree of Distinction, the highest honor. She has represented the school the past three years in both county and state debate competition. and will again represent the school this year. Peggy attended the Russellville Ken' M' . 'I W tucky Speech Tournament this year, going to the Iinals in both extempore and deelamation. She maintains a high scholastic average and is a member of the Honor Society, as well as being active in her church. 'C-. 1 TOMMY WEBSTFR winner of Qiportsmanshi award, voted him by Bro. Ira North. . c ' p hy teammates. and presented WILIJAM CP.A.AJ POTTS for his devotion to the Audio-Visual Aids program. He started wnrk in the library as an eighth grader and presided over the posting routines but very soon his first love became the audio-visual equipment. He was trans- ferred mto this group as a ninth grader and his eager- nessuto learn everything was almost a nuisance to his group captain. His interest in the program. dependability, and devotion to duty has earned him the title of Mr. PA. For three years he has assisted in training new operators, helped plan and supervise the entire program. P.A. has been in charge of the public address system and other audiovisual equipment at all night functions planned at the school. His participation in Forensics as made him a competent announcer and rounds out his mastery of the functions of his machines. We salute him for winning the 1958 WMAK-Pure Oil -Company Sportscaster Award for his sports- castmg of all the Madison High football games.
