This C. S. P. A. contest marks Madison's third entry and third consecutive win in national journalistic competition. In 1957 the RamfPage was awarded the firstfplace trophy in the Nashville Banner Better Paper contest for Tennessee High School newspapers. The RamfPage, now in its fifth year of existence, issued its first printed paper in May, 1955. Prior to that time it has been a mimeographed and dittoed publication. To be considered for membership a student must have earned 25 forensic points, have at least a B average, be recommended by the sponsors and Mr. DePriest, and be elected by the chapter. A member earns advanced degrees as his points increase from Merit CZSD, to Honor C751 to Excellence CISOD, to Distinction C2501 which carries with it an automatic scholarship. By membership in the N.
