Junzor Class H :story On Septemoer 7 19418 nmeteen green Freshmen enrolled ln Madlson Hlgh We elected class officers as follows Howard Rlles presldent Donme VanBuren vxce president jo Ann Glaser secretary treasurer Arlen Wood and Shlrley McMorr1s student council and Mr Kerr class sponsor After a few weeks Marjorie Dunlop moved to Moberly We were lnltlated ln a most absurd manner by the Sophomores johnny Hart enrolled m March and the Freshman party was held March 18th Band members m the Freshman Class were Donme Van Buren Bully Games and john Hart On September 5 1949 seventeen Sophomores came back to Madison High agam jack Hayden moved to Clarence but the loss was regained when jaumta Ragsdale moved here from Parts The officers of the Sophomore Class were Bully Games president Donme VanBuren vice president Arlen Wood secretary treasurer and Mrs Swartz class sponsor Later ln the year johnny Hart moved to Sturgeon and jimmy Flelds went to the Navy A new member Marvin Hultz enrolled later m the year On August Z8 1950 fifteen very jolly junxors enrolled ln school and they were all glad to be back Class officers were chosen as follows Delmer Embree presxdent Arlen Wood vace presldent Shirley McMorr1s secretary treasurer and Miss Mutersbaugh sponsor Our class membership thus year has been ln a constant state of flux Shortly after school started Delmer Embree went to the Army and Shirley McCann got married johnny once again enrolled ln Madxson Hugh Later ln the year Don Rxely moved to Mnlan and Howard Rlles lS moving to California Those partncxpatmg ln baseball thus year were Donme VanBu1-en Arlen Wood Don Rlley Rxchard I-louchms Howard Rules Shnrley McMorr1s jaumta Ragsdale Connxe Sharp and jo Ann Glaser We ve had one class party and are looking forward to another and the jumor Senior Banquet The juniors presented thexr very successful play The Brainstorm February 10th We hope to come back next year as dlgnlfxed Semors Sophomore H :story On September 6 1949 fmfteen green Freshmen entered the halls of Madxson High After we settled down we elected our class off1cers as follows Bob Trelkeld presndent Billy Crlm vlce presldent and Harry Riley secretary treasurer Our class sponsor was Mrs Brownfield The members nn the band from the Freshman Class were Billy Crlrn Ardmth Farrell Bob Threlkeld and Oss Luntsford The two baton twxrlers were Alberta 1..aForce and Shirley Darst Those who were interested xn basketball were Shxrley Darst Verna Houchms Alberta l.aForce joan Swlndell Ardxth Farrell Bllly Crxm Leon Coons Harry Rxley Bob Threlkeld and Carl Ancell On August Z8 1950 twelve Sophomores were back at Madxson High We were happy to have two new members ln our class They were Lots Llesman and Henry Embree Anna V1 alters joined us the second semester Our class offxcers were Lons Llesman president Ardlth Farrell vlce presxdent Henry Embree secretary treasurer and Mrs Harmon class sponsor 16 .
