Semor Class H :story On September 9 1947 twenty three Freshmen entered Madison Hugh After a mlld lmtlatton we settled down to studying We elected our class officers as follows presldent Sallxe Snell vlce presndent junior Crlm secretary Howard Mlller treasurer Delores Enochs and class sponsor Mr Kerr Three of our members dropped out during that year They were Vtrgmxa Cook Donald Ragsdale and Eldred Watt We also lost junxor Crum through death September 7 1948 found us together agam m study hall at Madison We had lost only one member Delores Enochs Our class officers were chosen as follows president Sallie Snell Vlce prestdent Dorothy Forsyth secretary treasurer Ella May Howell student councnl Howard Muller and l..ew1s Holder Our class sponsor was Mrs Brownfield Our Sophomore party was a hayrlde September 6 1949 found us again together at M H S wxth the exception of Martha Martxn Our offlcers were president Dorothy Forsyth vtce presxdent Howard Miller and secretary treasurer Betty Pollard Mxss Mutersbaugh was elected class sponsor We lost two members Bully Walters and Kenneth Witherspoon Our junlor Class play The Cannibal Queen was presented February 16th We consndered xt a great success We had the junxor Semor Banquet ln the audltorxum At the begmmng of thus school year Ln 1950 we gathered together for our last school year We elected class officers as follows president Sallie Snell vice president Howard Miller secretary treasurer Dorothy Forsyth and class spon sor Mr Curtrxght At the startlng of the second semester we found Bllly Walters wxth us agam As yet we are not sure what our play wxll be but we have decided to go to St L.ou1s on our Semor trxp We are also lookmg forward to the junxor Semor Banquet and to other actlvltxes at the end of the year Last Wzll and Testament of The Class of 1951 We the members of the Semor Class of 1951 do will and bequeath the follow mg prxzed possesslons to our underclassmen I Wanda alexander do wlll and bequeath my love for any boy whose name IS Bob to Shirley Robertson who already has a good start and my love for flxrtxng to Carolyn H111 who doesn t need much practice 1 Anne Bryant do will and bequeath my love for wrltlng letters to keep up the morale of the Army to Connie Sharp I Bob Cormck do will and bequeath my locker to Marvm Hultz my reservatxons at Cy s snooker table to L.ew1s Luntsford and my abllxty to pester people to any one who wants lt or thunk they are good enough to take xt 1 Donald Dixon do will and bequeath my affectnon for all the teachers to Harry Rnley and my love for Emma Embree and all the other Freshman gurls to Robert Swmdell I Donald Doyle do will and bequeath my love for bookkeeping to Donme VanBuren and my place on the basketball bench to Dlcky Southern 8 Q 4 I 1 1 ' - . 1 1 1 ' 1 1 1 S 1 1 1 . . . 1 1 1 . 1 1 - -..
