I, Howard Miller, do will and bequeath my ability to get into trouble to Arlen it, . 1 I I Ten Years Ahead Whxle work1ng as a mald ID the luxurious Davxs home I declded to clean the cluttered attnc whtch I had dreaded domg for so long This brxght sunny day In late 'Vlay 1961 seemed suntable for the Job My progress was slow because of constant nnterruptlon by the chlldren of the house lxttle Dorothy Kay and jackne jr who made my occupatlon a horror I plcked up an old turkey feather duster lymg In the corner and absent mind edly knocked down a couple of cob webs As I started cleaning an old truck that had been m the attic for years I came upon some books which were so old thelr pages were yellow wxth age I declded to ask Mrs Davls whether or not she wanted them destroyed Dorothy come here a mmute wlll you? I yelled down at her as I nearly gagged from the dust I had aroused ln the old attlc Dorothy rushed hurriedly up the stairs thmkmg one of the chlldren was causmg trouble as usual When we brought the old books from the dingy attlc into better lxght one was Immediately recognized as the old 1951 yearbook of Madlson Hugh Why exclaxmed Dorothy It s been years since I ve seen that old book Yes I agreed and look at the famxllar faces Dorothy Wnat ever happen As Dorothy turned the faded pages of the old yearbook she spoke of her class mates Sallie Snell she began She s now Mrs Elmer Halley of Huntsville and happxly marrled I suppose Now here s her closest friend Wanda Alexander She operates a soda fountaln a block off Coates in Moberly I hear she s domg fme She recently replaced her old fountain wnth the latest streamlined equnpment Who s the glrl ln glasses Dorothy?
