Madisonian Staff The Madisonian Hrst made its appearance in the halls of M. H. S. in 1919. This first paper, a six by eight weekly edition fas gradually enlarged until we have our large five column sixteen inch, four page bi-monthly paper of today. The mailing list of the Madisonian, which has been steadily growing large due to the subscriptions of service men and other alumni, has this year reached an all time high. The Madisonian has a circulation of 900 copies bi-monthly. The motto of the Madisonian, To Prirlf Your Nami' Wfifl Bi' Our Aim, is verx efficiently executed by the members of the journalism class. Student Council The purpose of the Student Council is to give the school body representation in an organization working to promote the welfare of the school from the standpoint of the students. This year the council sold War Bonds during the Victory Loan. On each Monday War Stamps were sold in the home rooms. The council provided some interesting as- sembly programs.
