Fresh men-wssem bly ln the fall of the year of 1945, our class of ninety-two entered the portals of M. H. S. to take our place and win fame for our school. Peggy Bunton The Student Council members were Joanna Sherman and Ronald Wheeler We were well represented in practically all of the school activities such as Latin Club Sun shine Society, and G. A. A. That we were musically inclined was evident from the large number of our group who were in the band and chorus. ln our midst we find several very talented athletes. Those on the second team in basketball were: Junior Monroe, James Werbe, Edward Orrill, Robert Karst, John Cam Norbert Schultz, Bill Johann, and Richard Eaglin. The special distinction of being Yell Leader in his freshman year went to Dick Demaree. Marilyn Demaree represented us in the field of dramatics by her excellent inter pretation of the mysterious maid in the school play, The Mountain Home Myviery Joanna Sherman served as stage manager.

Sophomores But now we're sophomores! Yes, last year we were those somewhat uncertain group of freshmen. To lead us through our first year we chose Mary Ann Vincent and Bob Knoebel. Our Student Council representatives were Mary Frances Hill and Bob Houze. In the school play, Happy Lumlingsf' Bill Bear typified the dramatic abilities of our class. Having left our greenish ways behind us, we, as sophomores elected the follow- ing people for class officers. President . , , Mildred Johnson Vice President. .. Bob Knoebel Secretary ...i,.. , , jo Ann Short To represent us on the Student Council we chose Bonnie Hugeback, Bill Bear, Norma Vestal, and George Wesbecker. To prove that we too are athletically inclined, Jack Server made the First team. F resh men-9B Thirty-two new freshmen came into high school at the beginning of the second semester. They had Room 25 for their home room. Several of the members have shown interest in school activities, and much can be expected of them during the next few semesters.
