The 1973 Homecoming theme was Let's Get It On and that's what everyone did. Homecoming week began with hat day, fol- lowed by comical costume day, a beautiful nighttime coronation ceremony, Spirit Day, Field Day, the snake dance, the skits, the bonfire, the parade , . and finally on Friday night, with the air full of tension, excitement, and hope, as the successful Home- coming week was climaxed as the football team beat inter-county rival Jasper for the first time since 1964. 1.
