7{ cU and 7e4frUHe tt We, the Senior Class of Madison High School, in making this will, have tried to help where need is greatest and also to give freely in reward for the services rendered to us. First, to the Juniors, we leave the right and responsibilities to be Seniors. To the faculty we leave our sincere thanks for the help and consideration given us through the past years at M. H. S. We will never forget your unceasing efforts to co-operate with us and know that the many lessons learn- ed will linger always. Being of sound mind and body, we now leave to the following people what little we have left to leave: I, Johnny Plant, leave my ability in athletics and be a member of the Beta Club at the same time to Jim Bunting. I, Louise Brown, leave my ability to make cherry pies to those girls who can't cook. I, James Everett, leave my ability to get along with the teachers to Elmer Johnson - he needs it! I, Joy Gossman, leave my place as the only girl in an all boys physics class to any girl who thinks she can learn under such conditions. I, Maury Blalock, leave my habit of having an opposite view from everyone else to anyone who can suffer the con- sequences. I, JoAnn Townsend, leave all my unknown abilities to anyone who can find them. I, Sandy Hardee, leave my extra clean notebook paper to Jack Davis. I, Linda Tuten, leave my ability to get in the Beta Club the second semester of my Senior year to anyone who is lazy enough to wait that long. I, Emmogene Singletary, leave my place as alto in Glee Club to anyone who wants it. I, Joe Adams, will my height to Jim Stanley, I, Sue Ellen Seals, leave the way I came - through the door. Lookout, Texas! I, Billie West, leave my title of Miss M. H. S. to any girl who thinks that she can stand the strain of elections. I, Linda Harris, leave my seat in detention hall to anyone dumb enough to get caught skipping school. I, Helen Littleton, leave my taxi service” to anyone who enjoys running out of gas all the time. I, June Ragans, leave my ability to skip school once a week to Penny Day. I, Helen Hutto, leave to let the good times roll. I, Danice Hiers, leave singing my theme song - Never Look Back. I, Rosalind Hutchinson, not meaning to be selfish, do hereby leave nothing - I’ll need everything I have. I, Melvin Wells, leave June 6th, regardless-------. I, Buddy Ragans, leave, hoping Peggy will learn to cook before I return. I, Joan Barker, leave my ability to work at night and go to school to anyone who thinks they can get away with sleeping in class. I, Mary Jean Franklin, leave my ability to file income tax returns to anyone who takes Advanced Math. I, Sherrie Raker, leave to my Math teacher all my chalk so he won't run out next year. I, Janet Johnson, leave my seat in Adv. Gen. Math to anyone dumb enough to take it! I, Elizabeth Smith, leave my American History book with no regrets. I, Dwayne Duval, will my ability to skip school without getting caught to Spessard Ragans. I, Scotty Wooley, leave my ability to get by without studying to Danny Thomas. I, Sonny Arnold, leave my smile to Mr. Day. I, Barbara Hiers, leave my position as a cheerleader to anyone going steady with a basketball player. I, Geraldine Holley, leave my Shorthand ability to Bobbie Jean Bell in hopes that she will make more use of it than I have. I, Susan McCoy, treasurer of the Senior Class, leave my worries of how to spend the Senior's money to next year's Senior Class treasurer. Continued on page 66
