Stajjjj' Tfle aqe You are typical teens, making fun out of work and sharing interests. You like jeans but change when it fits the occasion. Yes, you're typical youth. You go steady for about 2 months. You dress up: Heels for her; tie for him. You know how to drive, rely on the family car and get it, say twice a week if you are lucky. Typical High School students, you go out for sports 100%. You work on Sat- urdays babysitting, in stores, or garages. Your daily schedule is a familiar pattern of high school life: You are up at 6:30, maybe 7:00 or even later; sometimes oversleeping; going to classes at breakneck speed; snacking on cokes and munching candy bars. You do housework while listening to your radio requests. You enjoy school but hate to admit it. You study some-three hours a night, well, no, a week. You average A , well, any- way you make the grade, just, but you are satisfied because you are a teenager. And so, here is your book, Mahisco '57 which brings out our school spirit in classrooms, athletics, music, and all our activities. Wherever you may go, whatever you may do, you will always find it and remember the Spirit of '57. We of the annual staff hope you enjoy our interpretation of school life in good ole' M.H.S.

On November 20, 1956, the Madison County Classroom Teachers' Association honored Miss Sims in recognition of her 25 years service to the Schools of Madison County.
