WALTER BISHOP Supervising Principal Dear Seniors: Another milestone will be reached by each of you in a short time, and as you reach it, I join the many who offer their sincere congratulations upon your accomplishment. It is something that you can justly be proud of because it does represent the attainment of a goal, and even though new and higher goals will be sought, it is proper that at this time that you should experience a feeling of pride in your attainment. For some of you, graduation will mark the end of your formal education; for others, graduation will mean going away for further training. Regardless of what your imme- diate plans for the future are, or what your long-range plans might be, there are two goals that I would have you set for yourselves. First, keep informed, or stated differ- ently, keep learning. This is the only way to be a truly educated person. Second, develop a keen understanding of and respect for people—their ideals, attitudes, and beliefs. In the final analysis you will find that people are the most important things in tne world, and to a large extent, your success in life will depend upon your ability to get along with and adjust to your fellow man. Best wishes are extended to you as you embark on a new phase of life's journey.
