My message to all of you is an old one. It starts out with a few quotations. ’’Anything good will not come easy. Anything that is worth having will be worth working for. There is no short cut to success: The easiest and best way is a long hard road of work and more work. Docs this sound difficult and unattractive? Thru education you should be preparing yourself now for a job that will be very enjoyable and make work feel more like play. On this road to success you will meet many obstacles and your ability to by-pass or overcome them will depend upon your past learned experiences. Our experiences are shaped by our Intelligence, our own good Common Sense and our Tolerances. Tolerance, moral, physical and human (self and others) is all im- portant in every action and move that we make. Our own position should be rela- tive and thought of in respect to how it affects others. Success then may be thought of as our strength and desire to achieve in an environment based upon our reaction with others. To Quit is to fail. To continuously try to the best of your ability is to Pass and Succeed. JOHN L. PALCHEFF, Principal Bachelor of Science - Washington University Master of Science - Washington University ADAM A.
