Senior Class Prophecy Year in and year out, when the time has come to read the Prophecy, the same style is used. The Prophecy Committee of 1957 has decided that it is time for a change. You've all heard of the legend of Bridie Murphy. It seems that people living today might possibly have had other lives in other generations. Our committee has done quite a bit of research, and we have found that each of the Seniors in the Class of '57 have lived before. We thought that we should let you in on what you did in your other lives, so sit back. Seniors, and close your eyes, for you are in for a big surprise. Monsieur Charles de La Veach, the famous psychiatrist, has been quite helpful to us in getting the facts straight. We would like to acknowledge his assistance before we begin our story. Our story unfolds in the court of Queen Green, known as just plain Judy this century. All of the hustle and bustle of activity has been caused by the vast preparations of a great wedding feast of the Queen's cousin, Princess Sheila Hadley to the most noble Lord of the Kingdom, William of the House of Papa. The person who has been honored with the large task of making the wedding the greatest ever in the court is Lady Helen Riskovsky, who came from a country away across the sea just to perform this magnificent duty. She and her scores of scribes, Catherine Haiselup, Sally Lou Davis, Vivian Dixon, Brenda Hemingway, Roberta Compton, and Doris Kraley, have just completed the long list of guests to whom the invitations are to be sent. Some of the invitations have gone far across the sea to such royal guests as the Polish Count Wojcik, Princess Petrosky of Peoria, the great Russian noble, David Hrysko, Wilhelm Smith (known to his 20th century friends as Bill ), who is a famous man- ufacturer of wooden shoes in Holland, and the German Premier, Joseph Zimmerman. But the whole court is worried about the invitations reaching their destinations because of the raids made on the high seas by Bluebeard Sekora and his crew of the pirateship, Baby Doll . Some of the most noted members of the crew are Hill Billy Dillon, Gentleman Jim Massie, Bouncing Bobby Graves, Big Bill Story, Long John Melton, Dennis the Menace Owens, Alligator Alvin Valentine, Wee Willie Gushleff, and Don Ericson, the great grandnephew of the famous Leif Ericson. But King Donald Williams has sent his royal navy led by Patrick (I always get my man) Williams, who has earned his reputation by always getting his man. Duchess Carolyn Bradley, of one of the oldest families of Great Britain, has consented to design the bride's wedding gown. Because of this great task she will be unable to create the costumes of the Queen's Dancers who wanted so to have a more beautiful set of costumes than the Arabian Dancers. These Arabian Dancers, Rosemary LeRose, Jo Ann Riddle, Mary McClure, Maggie Petty, Jo Ann Pabst, and Norma Tanning, are known for their mystic dance throughout the world. The Queen's Dancers, bossed by Olga (Gold Tooth) Mitalovich, are really worried about the Arabian Dancers. These dancers of the Queen, Sandra Rose, Meda Ruby, Joanna Wichman, Glenda Morgan, and Zenobia Owens are going to work day and night so that their dance will be the best ever performed in the palace. They will work extra hard because of the prize given the best dancing group. The group that pleases the newlyweds most will be given their choice of husbands from the young men of the court, James Robertson, Baxter Crockarell, Charles White, Stanley O'Lander, Kenneth Walton, and Kenneth Hooper. The decorating of the huge palace has been put into the hands of Betty Jean James, Janice Riley, and Evelyn Jennings, the three foremost decorators of that century. Dexterous Donald Macek, whose fabulous showplace decorations are famous all over Europe and Asia, will furnish the decorations for the wedding without any charge whatsoever. Ronald Rembrandt Shaver will do a life-size portrait of the royal bride and groom which will be hung in the ballroom the night of the wedding. The Queen of France, Glenda (Marie Antoinette) Dacus, has been asked to bring along some Compliments Of DALEY'S PAINTS WALLPAPER 417 Madison Avenue - T.R. 6-2453 Madison, Illinois 29
