' 4 Kama awreafe ony! mixer sfdzme Baccalaureate, the religious part of graduation for the seventy-two seniors was held May l9, l96I, at 8:00. The Invocation and Baccalaureate sermon were given by Father Schmitt, pastor of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. In the sermon, he expressed this central theme, The Crossroads. The girls glee club sang There is a Balm. After the sermon the mixed chorus sang 'Heavenly Light. Then, after the benediction, the chorus sang The Lord Bless You and Keep You. 84

Center of attraction was the fountain at the dance. 3. The faculty can be seen as friends and niCe DEOPIE To know. 5. Streamers and low lights created a romantic setting for a memorable event. 5. Dancing was enJoyed by all on thls never-to-be-forgotten evening. 83 7. R. Hallenbeck and K. Kessler were one of the many couples who attended the love- ly prom.

j ML Wed .Again gfcwfzfzafzfon I. Dr. A. R. Christensen of South Dakota State College presented nYesterday-Today- Tomorrown for the graduation address. 2. Central's Girls Quartet of E. Lincoln, L. Cross, M. Arneson, M. Strand sang three selections including the school song. 3. B. Tomscha received the Student Council Speech Award from Mr. Southmayd. 4. The American Legion Citizenship Award was presented to J. Tofflemire, an honor student. 5. A group of very happy senlors led by J. Elshere and B. Keever prepare for en- trance into the armory to receive that well-earned diploma. 6. D. Fields received a scholarship to General Beadle from Madison's Rotary Club. 7. The Kiwanis Scholarship Medal goes to the outstanding freshman scholar. This year P. Krueger received the medal.
