Mr. Robert Damberg Mr. Ralph Ennis Mr. Wallace Girts Mr. Charles Heil Mr, James No,-fon Science Science Science Science Science Biology, Chemistry, Physics The maior curriculum change during the coming year shall be the beginning of a possible four-year sequence primarily for science oriented students - those interested in future careers in science, science related subjects, or engineering. These students, who start as freshmen, will begin with an exploratory course in general science which shall consist of twelve weeks of biology, chemistry, and physics - each area taught by an appropriate specialist. We hope to keep these people together as a group when they go into biology, physics, and chemistry in that order. This sequence is the preferred order for sci- ence co-urses, but exceptions are possible if prerequisites are fulfilled. We look forward toward a two-year integrated, team teaching combination of physics and chemistry. We hope this shall become a reality in the not too distant future. We also hope in the future to be able to offer a general chemistry course which would have non-technical emphasis on ideas and applications of chemistry. Mr. Keith Wooldridge Science Department Chairman em -A I Mr. Woolridge heads science department.
