Administration Madison has four administrators. Mr. Walter Erick- son is the principal. Mr. Erickson has bee-n principal at Madison for three years. Before Mr. Erickson became principal, he was Vice Principal for four years. During his seven years in office, he has contributed greatly to Madison's progress. Mrs. Sue Bushnell, the Curriculum Vice Principal, Miss Georgia Dean, the Dean of Girls, and Mr. Cyril Butterfield, the Dean of Boys, have been excel- lent assistants to Mr. Erickson. The administration is concerned with everything that happens at Madison including the classrooms, the library, the student store, the new research center, the many stu- dent dances and activities, the purchasing of supplies and the many othe-r responsibilities that keep Madison running smoothly from day to day. Besides school activities, our administrators are con- cerned with outside happenings such as the Dad s'Club and P.T.A. They are on hand for opening night at a drama production or a music program. They are ready to speak at assemblies and chaperone dances. Few stu- dents realize the work that goes into being a member of the administration of a school ,as large as Madison. inn Mr. Butterfield, Madison's Dean of Boys, also has many other responsibilities Mrs. Bushnell directs and evaluates Madison's curriculum.
