LIRSE BOGK STORE ms, Mrs. Elsie Shonnard, Madison's Nurse, whose schedule runs Monday after- noons, Wednesdays all day, and Friday mornings, takes care of the many emer- gencies which arise from day to day. Here she is arranging for a student to go home. Mrs. Peggy Kernan keeps an CICCUVGTS account of Madison's text books and makes sure that teachers get the class- room films they need.

SECRETARIES Mrs. Doyne McKinney, counselor's sec- retary cheerfully answers the many questions inquired from her day after 'i, as day from swdems' - Mrs. Shirley Lombard seems to have been caught by surprise when Gary Hewitt took her pic- ture for the yearbook staff. Mrs. Beth Edmon, one of Madison's six secretaries, takes time out to pose for photographer Gary Hewitt. Mrs. Sharon McCourt waits on the counter, takes care of the cut slips and tardies, and all emergency excuses for Madison students. Mrs. Roberta Shoop is caught by the cameraman talking on the phone again. Actually, she is checking on all students Mrs. Marguerite Sykes works who are absent' industriously as head secretary in Madison's main office.
