2550 STUDENTS Mrs. Gloria Sandles, Special counselor, aids students who are having difficul- ties at Madison during the mornings and teaches four P.E. classes during the after- noon. She is also working hard on Madi- son's bowling league. Mr. Blake, Sophomore Boys counselor, is talking with Wayne Cumley about Q school matter. Mr. Blake is also in charge of college boards. Freshman girls counselor, Mrs. Char- lott Winters keeps busy counseling 5 periods and teaches first year French one period a day. This is Mr. Pierce's first year at Madi- son. He has been working industriously with the Yearbook staff as their advisor. Also, he is Freshman .boys counselor. I Mrs. Margaret Holland is Madison's girls counselor. Besides counseling, Mrs. Holland teaches a first year Ger- man class.

COLINSELORS SERVE '--....,gNN 4'- 'n1lQt M Mrs. Amelia Auld, Senior girls' coun- selor, works hard with her graduating class. She also instructs one Senior E. E. social studies class. Mr. Dotson, Vocational counselor has worked hard in establishing the new Diversified Occupation Program at Madi- son. This is a two credit subject which lets the students work while getting class credit. Mr. Daune Fiskum, Senior boys coun- selor, is looking up Gary Hewitt's record as Gary takes Mr. Fiskum's picture. Mr. Fiskum has also taken the position of Test Coordinator here at Madison. Talking with Mrs. Auld is Mrs. Given Kohns, Junior Girl's counselor. Along with her counseling she is the Scholar- ship advisor. Mr. Allen Widestrom is kept busy with counseling iunior boys and teaching one English 7c Senior class. i

STLIDE STURE Mrs. Jessy Smith, bookkeeper at the Student Store, helps Steve Finnegan get the supplies he needs. She is kept busy with running the store and keeping records on all in coming and out going money. LIBRARY Having a short social conversation are Madison's three librarians. Seated is head librarian Mrs. Constance Wickwire and standing are Mrs. Retha and Mrs. Marian Smith.
