Homecoming Queen-Diane Allen. Pirates select MH Ro alt to rule events Among the titles awarded to Pirates throughout the year were Home- coming Queen, TREASURE CHEST Queen, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Black, and Prom Queen. Finalizing the festivities of Home- coming was the coronation of the 1970 Queen. For the second year in a row the TREASURE CHEST Queen was announced at the last home basketball game. The cere- mony took place during halftime, with eleven senior girls vying for the honor. Miss Scarlet and Mr. Black were honored by MH during Sectional Week by representing Pirate spirit. The candidates were nominated from each class. The 1971 Prom Queen was elected by the boys in the junior class to reign over A Time For Us . -Lil Miss Scarlet and Mr. Black hopefuls are announced prior to Red and Black Week. W 3 i ilf all
