Student Council carries on dvisor Board Sophomore Marc Akers listens intently to what is said at one ofthe weekly Student Council meetings. Led by Fred McGuire, Lew Cot- ton, Sheiletha McNeal, and Lynn J Mickey, Council again directed the gif Mock Political program. Taking con- S trol of Homecoming, the Council pumped new life into the festivities. A record 23 Hoat entries entertained the half-time crowd this year. The Council gave a feeling of holi- day gaiety to the school with Christ- mas decorations. SC was also res- ponsible for conducting the elections t of Miss Scarlet and Mr. Black during Sectional Week and for sponsoring Been-Will Be games and talent show.
