Guidance Department AsBev Friend plans to attend Anderson College next fall, she and her parents tour the college library. Students seek advancement through tests offered by the Guidance Department. Ruth Ann Behrens visited Sears Roebuck on Junior Guidance Day. She is being shown through the office by Mrs. Little.

Drivers ' Education offers a challenge to Betty Lightfoot and Steffani Spilman Variety of Subjects The Girls Glee Club trains for later participation in Concert Choir. Under the able direction of Mr. Taylor, Dennis Moller studies an unusual rhythm on the French horn.

Door Is Always Open. Decisions for the future become more urgent as a student approaches graduation. The Counseling Department door is always open to the student seeking the answers to his problems. Mrs. Davis, Mr. Dietzen, and Mr. Wimmer administer NEDT, PSAT aptitude, intelligence, and personality tests. These counselors discuss with stu¬ dents the everpressing problem of choosing a career and help arrange for the Junior Guidance Day program. Booklets about vocations are available in the counseling office and catalogues from the colleges may be borrowed for a two weekperiod. The counselors help stu¬ dents with their choice of a college and arrange for the College Night program for juniors and seniors. The counselors also provide a valuable service by helping many students each day with school, social, and personal problems. Mr. Wimmer counsels Jan Palmer on her choices of college.
