Through the co-operation of high schools and the Anderson business¬ men, junior students visited local industries and businesses to get a firsthand look at what might be their future places of employment. This year, 800 students spent a day visiting numerous Anderson professions. After being greeted by the receptionist, students sign the Delco Remy guest register. and new experiences ... An opportunity to witness firsthand the many aspects of one ' s future occupation is the key objective of Guidance Day. Even eating in a cafeteria is more interesting when one is surrounded by his future professional col¬ leagues.

Don Cherry crowns Ann Waggoner as Miss Christmas Carol. Mat mu la ting awards Sharon Fraumann — 4-H Winner Delegates to Girls’ State are Pat Minneman, Carol Chapman, and Pat Ehle. Alternates: Pat Daley, Judy Webb, Karen Shoemaker. Each year the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary sponsor Boys ' State and Girls ' State. The delegates are sent to Indiana Uni¬ versity where they participate in the activities of a model State. Delegates to Boys ' State are: John Alley, Tom Ross, and Ron Chapman. Alternates: Steve Larmore, Larry Wright, Bob Ferris. Ann Waggoner — D.A.R. i Janet Lackey won first place at the State Fair for her demonstration entitled Wash and Wear.” As a result of this achievement, Janet journeyed to New York and Washing¬ ton, D. C. with several other 4-H winners.

Students decorating a ladder? Members of art club did a fine job of putting the front windows in Christmas finery also. Driver ' s Training gives a very broad education, and in this case, the garage benefited the most. One might even be able to learn something at these open houses! Md Providing Jnteresting Highlights It’s a Bardot pin-up. (It ' s really the Vocation Shop boys putting up book shelves in the new junior high.) The mascot of Advanced Biology has that look; Oh to be a mutt again .
