Starting on her search for the right” college, Sandy Prather consults Mr. Wimmer on the advantages which Ball State has to offer. The next step, visiting the campus, takes Sandy and her parents to Ball State where she forms a first¬ hand” opinion. Apparently Sandy and Ball State both liked each other as we find Sandy acquiring more knowledge in the col¬ lege library. Armed with an electrographic pencil, Ted Pakes is intent if not stimulated by his application on the ardurous P. S. A. T. test. Stimulated The National Merit Scholarship Tesc rewards some with scholarships and others with a morning of no classes. 26

Encouraged by tradition ... Can the seniors can-can? They can and they did at the Senior Talent Convo! The day when seniors find out who the fatheads really are and how much everyone weighs comes under the pretext of ordering caps and gowns. Second to none, Envied by all, None can compare, In our famous halls. Only the greatest Really the most, So to our Seniors- We give a toast! Seniors aren ' t always this messy. It is the traditional Sloppy Day. And as our Golden Years draw to a close, the traditional announce¬ ments are ordered to inform our friends and relatives (and maybe to hint about something else).
