SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President.....................................................RUSSELL FRANKLIN Vice President......................................................CARY OcDEN Secretary..........................................................CAROLYN Lee Treasurer...............................................Nancy Gayle Anderson Sponsors........................................Miss McPherson, Mrs. Fraley Seniors! There seems to be a special and wonderful formula for this word; hard work, plus good times, plus a strong determination to reach this last big step. Fortunately, we have Mrs. Fraley and Miss McPherson to lead us successfully through our last step. Our class officers are: Russell Franklin, president; Cary Ogden, vice president: Carolyn Lee, secretary; and Nancy Anderson, treasurer. Our representatives to the Student Council are Cary Ogden, Carolyn Lee, Anne Overstreet, Wilda Smith, Hunter Kidd and Roy France. '‘Tonight we launch; where shall we anchor?” is our motto that kept us striving onward. Our class colors are red and white with the red rose as our class flower. Our first big event of the year was the Senior Play, Dear Diary,” which was a great success. The next big event was our annual Christmas Party, which took place in the school Library. Other highlights of the year were the Junior-Senior Banquet and Dance. We also took a trip to Washington, D.C. Last, but not least, was the Junior-Senior Picnic, when we left school for a day of fun. We. the Senior Class of ’56 wish the best of every thing to the following Senior Classes. We hope the future Seniors will have as wonderful and successful year as ours. Now, we say, “so long” to dear and forever rememberable M. H. H. S.
