Marie Camden- ..................Mack Dews SENIOR CLASS At last we have reached our goal, to be recognized as seniors. Along with our new title, we have two new sponsors, Miss Virginia Mitchell and Miss Virginia McPherson. The officers, whom we elected at the close of our Junior year, were Montie Kidd, President; Earl Clarkson, Vice-President; Marie Camden, Secretary; and Mack Dews, Treasurer. Representing us on tin- Student Council this year are Richard Cash, Mary Ellen Camper, Oeorge Wilkerson and Joan Hunt. Our Motto is “Live to Learn; Learn to Live.” Our colors are red and white with the red rose as our flower. Ill December, we gave the Senior Play, “Birds of a Feather,” which was a big success. Next, came our Christmas Party at which all had a wonderful time. Other big highlights of our Senior Year were the formal dance at New Year’s, the Junior-Senior Banquet and Dance, and best of all a day of fun at Holliday Lake on the Junior-Senior picnic. Even though we have looked forward to our graduation for so long, there is a bit of sadness in our hearts as we leave school and all our friends and teachers.
