Apparently becoming an annual affair, the Christmas party was held again in the boy's gym. As the expression says, it was bigger and better than ever. With Mr. Brown leading the singing, ami with Santa Claus paying a surprise visit, everyone had a very merry Christinas. 7

Central's annual Homecoming show usually produces some ingenious floats. and this year was no exception. It took a great ♦leal of work and stacks of crepe paper to put them together; hut everyone agreed that the effort was well sjkmiI when the marvelous creations were proudly displayed before the crowd. 6

The support of our athletic teams this year demonstrated the tremendous spirit of the student body. t least one busload of students was present at almost ever) out-of-town football and basketball game. The football team responded with a totull) unexpected tie for third place in the Big Right, and the basketball team provided many thrills in an unusual number of close games. Pep auds presented witty material effectively, and the halls of Central High were covered with banners and posters put up by the Pep Committee. It has been a spirited school year, and one that has demonstrated our pride in Central. a
