To each of you boys and girls who are and increasingly will be the heart and spirit of Madison Central High School, 1 wish a happy continued growth and success. As a first step toward this growth, look into a mirror at your inner self—“see yourself as ‘ithers’ see you . Check up on your good and your “not so good qualities. Then, look into a telescope at your future self, as “ithers could and would like to see you— proud of your school and so living that your school is proud of you. Yours then is sure to be the improved pluck, ability, interestedness, and likeableness which you and I admire in every real boy and girl. Yours, too, the good taste, good breeding, and very good judgment of every real person.
