Saw Onkrtbrr Tennis In response to the class tor tennis players for the 1943 season the boys turned out. It was interesting to see what the tram could do, as it was short-handed. But what the team lacked in man-power was made up in spirit. TRACK TEAM Golf Although the Central golfers dropped their first two matches to West and East, by mid-season the team had really begun to shape up. Paul Kinsella turned in a low of 82 at Nakoma in the East matches. Each mcmlier of tlie team showed fine form. TENNIS TEAM Rohr it Kwh. II'all,nr Ijnitn. C.niton Moran and Roy Hamm Track The 1943 track team svas sparked by a group of Hashes. N'olnidy pushed (icorgc Clvoles around. |ohn-uy Matas ssalked oil first in his first try at the 440 against Wisconsin High. Inn Hyslop was rise four-star performer. On The Court A small bui scrappy Central quintet went down ta defeat in 10 of 15 starts this year, paying against opjroncnts which generally had a decided height advantage. Several game of the season were lost by a two or three point margin. Standout features of tlse season were the twin wilts over West, and the split in the two game series with Beaver Dam.
