Mast of the games were close hut Coach Pollock’s men couldn’t click in the decisive moments, which explained the loss of many close games. In contrast with recent yars, the annual East-Central tilt found Central as the underdog and loser of the final game of the season. Several game of the season were lost by a two or three point margin. Standout features of tlse season were the twin wilts over West, and the split in the two game series with Beaver Dam. It was interesting to see what the tram could do, as it was short-handed. But what the team lacked in man-power was made up in spirit. TRACK TEAM Golf Although the Central golfers dropped their first two matches to West and East, by mid-season the team had really begun to shape up.
