DAVID LIPSCOMH COLLEGE has pioneered in year-round college education, to which many forward-thinking institutions all over the nation are changing. By 1967, this summer quarter lfourth quarter! student body is expected to reach 11100. possibly a third of whom will be freshmen. This is an age when time is of utmost importance-to you, to ,, in the fourth year an income equal to the cost of your three years the church. to the community. and to the nation. The sooner you can take your place as an educated citizen, the better it will be for all. 1 am especially hopeful that graduates of Madison Academy and other Christian schools will take advantage of year- round education at Lipscomb to equip themselves to go forth to serve the Lord in their chosen field as soon as possible. YEAR-ROKNISJ EDUCATION has many important advantages for you as a student. First ol all, by completing requirements for the 11.5. or BA. degree in three years. you may expect to earn W ,W ,eS'!':?, in college. 1 . . By beginning your freshman col- Presidem Pumas lege studies in ,lune instead of September. you can step out ahead of tradition-bound high school graduates and leave them a year behind. F'EW STLTDICNTS will Hnd summer employment that pays as well as you will be rewarded for completing a full quarteras work in college. Those who feel they must work at least one quarter each year will End it more profitable to enroll in the summer quarter and work for four full months in the fallfSeptember through December-when employment and earning opportunities are much better. ln addition to all of the foregoing advantages. Lipscomb offers approximately seven weeks of vacation time to students and teach- ers wbo participate in the year-round program. 1 extend to you who are graduating at Madison Academy in 1964 a very warm personal invitation to come to see what we have to offer you at Lipscomb before deciding on your future plans.
