The JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY is sponsored by Mrs. Lois Ward. It is similar to the Beta Club, having the same high requirements, but is made up of Grades 7-9. The BETA CLUB is one of the highest honors in school. To belong you must have at least a B average and also have other qualifications--such as good attitudes, character, honor, loyalty, and truthfulness. This group sponsored by Mr. Robert McCready consists of Grades 10-12. 133

Debate Last year, Madison Academy formed its first Debate Team. This team participated in several tournaments and debates and made a very creditable showing for itself. This year we are expecting an even better record as this team travels from tournament to tournament under the tutelage of Mister Roland Roberts. FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA.
