FJA— Classwork Today a Profession Tomorrow Tlie Future Journalists of America is a national organization which was in- stalled at Madill High School in 1962. Its membership is composed of mem- bers of the journalism class who have shown a professional interest in some phase of journalism. Included in the annual F.J.A. events are the state con- vention at University of Oklahoma and representation at the annual Oklahoma Interscholastic Press Association con- vention. In the spring the organization will hold a dinner meeting in honor of newspaper, annual and radio staffs. The organization’s sponsor is Mr. Jim Landt. Leadership for F.J.A. is provided by Gary Bane, president; Charles Sykes, vice-president; and Phyllis Bartee, treasurer. Secretary Linda Dry is not pictured.
