SCHOOL SONG Our voices raise in praising you, M. H. S. , Our school, our team, the Black and Gold-- Wherever we may be. Oh dear M.H.S. Your colors we will e'er uphold; As hand in hand we stand for you, M. H. s., We'll lift a shout of love to thee. With hope gone, we'll fight on, All for you, through and through. We'll end our song in victory. Within your halls, the walls We'll mark up to rest the victor's sign And leave enscrolled Within our hearts a part of you, M. H. S., To live to laud the Black and Gold. Our joys, our tears, the years we spend, M. H. S., May fade to pleasant memory. But we'll be, endlessly, all for you. Through and through We'll sing our song of love to thee. We, the students of Madill High School, believe in purity of living obedience to authority, courteous manners, achievement through effort, loy- alty, service and integrity of character. We believe in living up to the best that is within us at all times; whether alone or with many, and in keeping faith with ourselves, our homes, our school, our city, our country, and our God. HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES Our High School years will soon be past. But we have memories that will last and last. Memories of all that we have done. Each time we lost; Each time we won; We'll never forget the joys we've known. Or the kindness our school has shown. The help of a teacher; The smile of a friend These are the memories that never end. -Anita Edwards

DEDICATION We the members of the Wildcat Staff wish to dedicate this copy of the Madill Wildcat to the seniors of the past who once filled these halls but have gone on to fill more important positions. To the seniors of the present for their final record toward their goal in high school-- their senior year--and their satisfaction of a job well done. To the future seniors who in years to come will fill the halls of M. H. S., the Seniors of 1960 leave their Motto, Onward-Upward.” THE ANNUAL STAFF OF 1960
