MADILL WILDCAT YEARBOOK WE'LL REMEMBER by Irene Savage All the memories of our days Will forever live with us. The Monday mornings, the rainy days. The times we missed the bus. Those failures and passes. All the honors and the short week-ends. All the rush between classes. Busy chats with our friends... And at the ball games. The different atmospheres. The hopes, the excitement, tense moments- But through all, the brave cheers. The bright glory Of being in our teens. The cokes, the homework. The latest fads, (in blue jeans). But of all the things, the one That we'll remember best. Is the undying SCHOOL SPIRIT In classrooms and at contest.

This page is dedicated to the memory of Patsy Alyine Hall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hall. Patsy, a junior of 1957, was staff artist for the WILDCAT yearbook of 1956 and was chosen to have that position for this is- sue. She received superior ratings in art and speech during her high school years. She was a member of the Student Council, Quill and Scroll, Pep Club, and she served as a class officer. Patsy became ill during her junior year and passed away on January 2, 1957. The following selection is her favorite poem: So live, that when the summons comes to join The innumerable caravan, which moves To that mysterious realm, where each shall take His chamber in the silent halls of death. Thou go not, like the quarry slave at night. Scourged to his dungeon, but sustained and soothed By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave. Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch About him and lies down to pleasant dreams.
